Fresh sheets are only part of caring for a bed. Dust, perspiration and everyday use also affect the mattress beneath them. A considered assessment helps establish what can safely be cleaned.

Foam, latex, springs and layered fillings do not all respond to cleaning in the same way. The manufacturer’s guidance and the mattress condition determine the suitable approach. Excess moisture is especially important to avoid where ventilation is limited.
Share the dimensions, care label, approximate age and whether one or both sides need assessment. A mattress should be accessible and stripped of bedding before the visit. Plan another sleeping arrangement if it cannot dry in time.
Cleaning is not a treatment for allergies and cannot make a mattress sterile. Deeply absorbed liquids, persistent damp or suspected mould may make replacement the more appropriate option. Tell us about these issues before requesting a booking.

Sheets protect the surface, but fine dust, skin flakes and fibres can still collect in the cover and seams. Visible stain removal and dust removal are different parts of mattress care.
Dust mites are microscopic and feed on shed skin. Mattresses and upholstered furniture can harbour them; their allergens can aggravate allergies or asthma in sensitive people. Even a clean home cannot be made completely mite-free.
Tell us the mattress size, construction and whether both sides are accessible. We assess the cover and care label before proposing a cleaning method, and discuss drying before you use the bed again.
Vacuum with a HEPA-filter vacuum, wash bedding regularly according to its care label, and consider allergen-proof mattress and pillow covers. Managing indoor humidity also matters.
Cleaning is not a treatment for allergies. If symptoms are a concern, speak with a healthcare professional.

The photographs show collected dust and fibres. They do not identify dust mites, measure allergens or establish a health outcome.
Before your appointment
A useful enquiry starts with the information below. Appointment availability and the suitable method are confirmed after assessment.
A simple start
From the first photo to the final drying advice, know what to expect.
Tell us about the furniture, the marks and your location. A full view, a fabric close-up and a photo of any stains are a useful start.
Discuss the material, likely results, price and access. Choose a suitable appointment with enough time for drying.
The planned approach begins with an on-site check and protection of the surrounding area, followed by suitable treatment and aftercare guidance.
Your questions
No. We do not make medical or allergen-elimination claims. Speak to a qualified healthcare professional for advice on allergy symptoms.
This cannot be promised in advance. The method, material and room conditions determine drying. Keep a flexible plan and do not cover or use a damp mattress.
